Delegate insecticide is particularly useful in vineyards for controlling key pests while minimizing the impact on beneficial insects. Apply at a rate of 3 to 5 ounces per acre, with a maximum of 19.5 ounces per acre per year. Do not make more than 5 applications per year, and ensure no more than 2 consecutive applications are made before rotating to another insecticide class for resistance management. Delegate insecticide has a 4-hour reentry interval and a 7-day pre-harvest interval.
