Treatment Plan

Winter freeze injury can largely be avoided with good site selection and by selecting varieties that are hardy at your location. On newly planted vines we do not recommend leaving grow tubes on over winter. For grafted vines, covering graft unions with insulating material is recommended where temperatures may fall below zero degrees fahrenheit.
