Treatment Plan
Although damage from grape rootworm is caused by larvae feeding on the roots, insecticide applications are made targeting the adult beetles that feed on the leaves. Adults may emerge over a period of several weeks so treatments may need to be repeated.
Apply Drexel Carbaryl 4L at 1-2 qt/acre when the adults are first seen and re-apply if necessary. Up to 5 applications per season are permitted with a minimum of 7 days between applications. 7 day PHI. 48 hr REI.
