Damage from grape cane gallmaker is mostly cosmetic.  There are no general use insecticides labeled for control of this pest in New York State.

Imidan* is registered for control of this pest and is not a federally restricted use pesticide. Danitol*, Baythroid*, and Leverage 360* are restricted use pesticides registered for control of this pest.
